A Friendly Game Of Baseball

I got a free ticket to yesterday's Braves game from my job. I went with 3 co workers and had a great time. I first got a haircut, then met them over at one of the co worker's house. She gave me horrible directions (meaning she gave me the wrong name of the street I was supposed to turn on), which when combined with my natural lack of a sense of direction had me going all out of my way. When I finally found the place, we went to Fridays for drinks and appetizers. I would have liked to have left earlier since I knew the traffic was going to be killer, but I decided to just go with the flow and not worry about it. I was right of course, traffic was a beast and we didn't get there until the 4th inning. No matter, though. When we got there we discovered that our seats were in our company's suite right behind home plate. We could see everything, and had the option of sitting outside or inside. Even the concession stands were different where we were sitting. One of them had hot dogs, but they were gourmet hot dogs that cost $10. They also had a sushi stand and a pasta stand. I guess this is where the corporate big wigs sit, so it was more upscale. I'm glad I decided to eschew my normal anti social behavior and go hang out to see the Braves beat the Cubs. I had a good time and took plenty of pictures. Here are a few:

Baseball is much better in person. I can never watch on TV but the games are actually fun and entertaining. I cant convince my family of this though.

Glad you went and had a good time. Who could pass up watching the game from the company's Suite. SWEET!!! Lol

I also like baseball better in person...i think the crowd interaction is what makes it fun, though, not the actual game.

glad you had a swell time!

Wait a second! You went out, willingly, with coworkers? I'm not even sure what to make of this....

Baseball is big fun - can't wait 'til it warms up here so we can catch a few games. We are home to the Braves (quadruple ?) A team - the appropriately named Mississippi Braves.

Glad you had fun!

Did this event make up for the last few times that you've socialized with co-workers?

It is SO weird to see you with people I don't know. Your (probably not temporary) socialness is bizarre. Not a complaint. Just weird. The 4th inning dog??? I couldn't even do it. You know I would've been pissed. Baseball is the best in person!

There must have been a full moon! LOL! But that's great you went out. I went to Happy Hour with my coworkers last night and had a ball.

The only professional game I ever went to was a few years back. All I remember is the sun eating away at my skin and a margarita so big I had to hold it with two hands.

Well aren't you fancy Mr. $10 Gourmet hotdog. Looks like fun. I'm not a huge fan of football but the guys have some really nice bodies...geesh.

Sincerely,

Go

WHY did I think that the 4th inning was the last inning?? I'm such a girl.
